Steve Sarkisian has been fired by the Universitiy of Southern California. His firing comes after accusations of alcoholism, as he was reported to showing up at work under the influence of alcohol.
USC had to make this move in order to save the program. Sarkisian would have been out indefinitely and recruits would probably bolt to other schools in his absence.
USC Athletic Director Pat Haden must find a permanent coach for the 2016 season, or risk becoming the second best landing spot with the resurgence of the UCLA program.
Philadelphia Eagles' head coach Chip Kelly would be a good fit for the program, however, don't expect Kelly to relocate unless the Eagles do not make the playoffs.
