Why Tom Brady is the GOAT

Most folks argue that the GOAT in the NBA is either Jordan, LeBron, or Russell. Each player and his fan base has their own reason why their favorite player is the goat.

Russell was a great teammate and defender; won 11 titles. 

Jordan was a great individual talent that could not be guarded.

LeBron has been a jack of all trades, improving every season.

However in the NFL, there should be no debate on who is numero uno.

Tom Brady has captained the New England Patriots since 2001, when Drew Bledsoe went down to injury. Brady has led the Patriots to seven Super Bowls, winning five.

He has dominated Peyton Manning led teams in the postseason. He has put up better stats than Joe Montana.

The quarterback is the most important position in football. Wins and losses are determined on the decision making abilities of the quarterback. Teams fight to get franchise quarterbacks in the draft or through free agency.

No QB in history has had the longevity with one team as has Brady with marginal talent at the RB and WR positions.
