SEC Football is Fool's Gold

The SEC has vouched that they are the best football conference  in the NCAA. However, besides Alabama, which teams can compete for national titles annually? None.

The SEC is built off of in-house competition. They beat each other up during the regular season while being ranked unreasonably high based off of their performances.

The SEC teams are ranked by potential. The pollsters look at the recruiting classes and NFL talent and assume they should be ranked.

However, if you look at the bowl games, the SEC doesn't fare well. If Alabama left the conference tomorrow, you would have a different winner every year.
