Will Jones, Co-Host of TALK'N Random'ish with King and Sane

Love 860 in Atlanta has a new talk show called TALK'N Random'ish with King and Sane. Will Jones is a Statesboro native who currently resides in Atlanta.

Get on the Bandwagon spoke to Will Jones (Sane).

Q: How did you get started on radio?

A: First...radio was like one of those dreams I had as a kid listening to E93 back in the day. Last year, I took a Radio Broadcasting class where I met my partner Rique King. After hearing us just going back and forth about the Hawks former GM, the course instructor said we should do a show together. So he and I agreed that the first one to land a spot in radio will open the path for our show. He started as an intern at the station and he spoke with the GM about giving him time on the air. The GM told him to do a demo and I'll see. King called me up and said it's on. We knew we had a great concept...barbershop style convo.

Q: What is the format of the show? Do you have people to call in or do you guys just talk? Do you bring on guests?

A: We do it all. We have guests. Tonight we're trying to get this attorney to come on to speak a little bit about OJ. Also, callers can call in and change the subject. It's really the people's show. We're just the shop keepers.We open the door, start a convo and allow our customers/callers free range.

Q: Is it your goal to move from a weekly show to a daily show? A: That's the ultimate goal. We want to make it a full time show...at least 3 hours 5 days a week. We want to entertain but also make a difference. Sports is a main topic of the show, however we fill a need to be more than just a sports talk show.

Q: Do you Livestream your shows? A:Yes...we livestream on FB live. Also on the Tune-In app and at love860.com
