Many college students work their way through college through part-time or minimum wage jobs. Well, one college student has decided to take a different route. Anesha Drummer has taken her love for fitness and clothing and combined it to produce quality training and workout gear.

Q: How long have you been an entrepreneur?

If we count my clothing store, I've been an entrepreneur since I was 19.

Q: Where did your entrepreneurial spirit come from?

My daddy. He's always been an entrepreneur since I've known him. He's taught all of us to do the same. I can hear him say it in my head, day and night.

Q: What gave you the idea of fitness?

Stress. With school and stuff. I ended up changing my major from nursing to exercise science because one the classes was ridiculously boring and two my grades were strong for the program to start with. I was already in the gym everyday to deal with the stress and once I started taking the classes, it became more of a passion. It is something I love to do and it makes me feel good.

Q: How has it motivated your friends and clients?

I think with them seeing my body change. I have been bigger and smaller. It really motivates them. They can relate more to me and that's what keeps them coming back. My friends and family all attempt to eat better and workout and I think that's what makes me keep going too. Like, I can't stop because they're watching.

Q: How do incorporate nutrition into your workouts?

When I really focus, I meal prep. I use to focus on counting macros, which are proteins, fats, and carbs. It is a very effective way to lose weight, but now I kind of know my body and I can just portion my meals accordingly. I meal prep to stay consistent. If I don't, then I eat out too much.

Q: Are your clients only women or do you train men also?

I have trained men, but right now my only clients are women.

Q: Do you work with women who have had children and are trying to get that "bounce back"?

I do. Everybody wants to bounce back and does not realize how much harder it is for our bodies to actually go back to how they were before.

Q: What are your prices and plans?

$75/month for 3 days a week for 4 weeks or $10/session

Q: What are your future plans?

I plan to open a studio gym within the next year and eventually hope to own a big gym with memberships.
